Calling all independent documentary producers! In The Life Media, Inc. is now seeking documentaries about the LGBTQ experience for their 2008-2009 season. They’ll consider nonfiction films of all lengths created by independent producers or entities in the past five years for acquisition. Preference will be given to broadcast premieres. This is a rare opportunity for producers who have either evergreen docs that could be repurposed and given a 2nd or 3rd broadcast window, or unused stories from past projects. Legendary singer songwriter, Donna Summer, is back with her first studio album of all new material in 17 years! Crayons, set to release on May 20, will have all the characteristics that made Donna an icon. Containing a potent mix of the up-tempo tunes and ballads, the new album showcases incredible new material that is written by Donna, who wrote or co-wrote the majority of her hits of the 70s-80s. She says, “My dream is that when people hear the music it will remind them of their youth, their childhood and the joy and wonderment they felt exploring their first pack of Crayons.”

Legendary superstar George Michael will be bringing his smash “25 Live” tour to North American Arenas in the summer of 2008 in support of his new retrospective record. This will be Michael’s first North American tour in 17 years. The new record, titled Twenty-Five, is a 29-song, 2-CD set featuring six new songs (including duets with superstars Paul McCartney and Mary J. Blige and a song from the Eli Stone finale) in addition to many of Michael’s iconic songs from both his solo and WHAM! career. In addition, a companion 2-disc DVD of 40 videos will also be available.
